About Hound Away From Home Boarding
Dogs who stay at Hound Away From Home will spend their days being able to run free, play in wide open spaces and enjoy the company of other friendly dogs. Our property offers a fully fenced acre for off leash running and playing as well as several other acres of wide open fields with trails leading to wooded areas for leash walks, all guaranteed to satisfy your dog's exercise needs... and we all know that a tired dog is a HAPPY DOG!
At the end of the day our 500 square foot Hound Lounge boasts heated floors, a grooming area, refrigerator/freezers to accommodate all types of diets and lots of floor space to just hang with "the pack" and relax. The Hound Lounge is located right off of our own main living area so that your dog is never left feeling 'alone' or deprived of human contact.
My own 20+ years of dog training and management experience ensures that all interactions and play groups are supervised at all times. This allows everyone to get along well and enjoy safe play.
Our In Home Boarding rate is $50/day and we try to limit our guests to 6-8 dogs. Please be sure to contact us and reserve your dog's stay well in advance especially during holiday and peak travel seasons as we do fill quickly.
Guest Requirements
Due to the open setting nature of our In Home Boarding, only dog friendly dogs will be accepted. We pride ourselves on a fun and relaxed environment, free of conflict, so please understand this. We are more than happy to recommend other wonderful boarding options available in the area if your dog is not a suitable candidate for In Home with us.
We have everything your dog could ever need during his stay with us including bedding, bowls, crates, toys, etc. However, we do ask that you please supply us with enough of your dog's regular food for the extent of his stay to avoid tummy upset. We are more than happy accommodate any and all dietary needs as well as administer required medications and supplements while your dog is in our care. Just simply relax and be secure in knowing that your buddy is in good hands while you are away!
